Maya Jama's Poppi Launch Look and Fitness Insights Revealed

Maya Jama Shines at Club Poppi Launch in London

Maya Jama, the renowned TV presenter, made a striking appearance at the Club Poppi launch event held at 83 Rivington Street in London on Thursday evening. At 31 years old, she captivated onlookers in a figure-hugging black leather midi dress, exuding confidence and style as she posed for photographs. This star-studded gathering marked a fun night out for Maya, who has recently been busy hosting Love Island and presenting at the BRIT Awards.

Celebrity Guests and Fashion Highlights

The event was attended by a host of notable figures, including rising star Skye Newman, model Leomie Anderson, and singer Rose Gray. Adding a touch of drama to the evening, Romeo Beckham's ex-girlfriend, model Mia Regan, was present, potentially facing an awkward encounter with his current partner, Kim Turnball, who served as the DJ for the night. Kim showcased a trendy brown leather co-ord outfit, while Mia opted for a more casual ensemble, highlighting the diverse fashion choices on display.

Poppi's UK Debut and Maya's Personal Reflections

Club Poppi, a soda brand popular among US celebrities, officially launched in the UK with five standout flavours: Orange, Strawberry Lemon, Raspberry Rose, Lemon Lime, and Wild Berry. It is now available at Tesco and Pret, retailing at £2 per bottle. Amid the festivities, Maya shared insights into her recent health struggles and body image concerns. In a TikTok video posted on Tuesday night, she revealed that a severe bout of food poisoning during a trip to South Africa had caused significant weight loss, leaving her feeling too skinny.

Flashing her abs in a sports bra, Maya expressed a preference for a thicker physique and outlined her plans to regain weight through weight training and late-night eating. She addressed misconceptions about slim figures, stating, "I don't love that since Ozempic, anyone that's slim, they're like Ozempic, Ozempic, Ozempic. Some of us are naturally marga [skinny] and we don't wanna be. We like being thicker, but it's hard so just bear that in mind." She emphasized the challenges of gaining weight and offered advice: "My tip for the girlies that are trying to gain though, is weight lift. I've gained weight before and I will do it again. And eat late. I don't know if this is proper advice but I eat late at night and then feel like it stays on my body."

Fitness Routine and Wellness Tips

Maya's commitment to fitness is well-documented. In an interview with Women's Health in January, she highlighted three key exercises that have significantly improved her strength and fitness: squats, push-ups, and kickbacks with ankle weights. She explained, "Squats really work the glutes, which is a must. Push-ups do wonders for my core. I love kickbacks because they're great for firming and toning." Working with personal trainer Warren Whitely and incorporating regular reformer Pilates sessions at Nobu London, Maya maintains an active lifestyle. She added, "I'm on a bit of a home workout vibe at the moment. Taking the stairs instead of taking the lift, dancing around my house, just being active anywhere I can."

This blend of glamour and personal reflection underscores Maya Jama's multifaceted public persona, as she navigates the pressures of celebrity life while advocating for body positivity and holistic wellness.
