Maura Higgins has revealed she is undertaking a major renovation at her £1.25 million Essex home, including the addition of a brand-new bathroom and a sauna. The reality star, aged 35, took to her home Instagram account, Casa A'Maura, on Sunday to showcase the transformation of her five-bedroom property, which she purchased in October 2024.

Maura, who is set to relocate to the United States later this year for Dancing With The Stars, described her home as currently being in a state of 'chaos', but assured fans that the results would be 'worth it'. The Love Island star shared images of her property stripped back, with rubble scattered across the floor following the demolition of a wall. She wrote: 'Finally breaking the silence over here!!! It's chaos right now.... but give me a minute before and afters are going to be worth it.' She added: 'Main bathroom, I'm very excited for my sauna.'

Previously, Maura's expansive kitchen, complete with an island, led out past the dining area through bi-folding doors to a large walled garden with a neat lawn. The I'm A Celebrity star splashed out on the £1.25 million semi-detached property in October 2024 and showed off her new kitchen, which featured a chandelier and grey floors. At the time, she gushed: 'Bought my dream house'.
