Television personality Lizzie Cundy has set pulses racing with a series of stunning holiday photographs shared from her sun-soaked getaway in Barbados.

The 57-year-old media figure, who celebrated the arrival of 2026 on the Caribbean island with a group of close friends, posted an album of sizzling snaps to her Instagram on Monday. Lizzie commanded attention in a sleek black swimsuit, showcasing a remarkably youthful physique against the tropical backdrop.
Beyond the solo shots, Cundy offered her followers a glimpse into her vibrant social itinerary. The album included photos from a lively evening out at the popular QP Bistro, where she was joined by a notable group of friends. Among them were Gavin & Stacey star Ruth Jones and Brookside actress Claire Sweeney, alongside Lizzie's close friend and model agency owner, Paul Cavalier.

In one particularly eye-catching image, Lizzie posed in a contrasting black and white swimsuit, leaning casually against a bright green sports car partially submerged in the ocean's edge. This glamorous display comes shortly after the TV personality humorously addressed her penchant for daring outfits. In a previous post, Lizzie jokingly declared that her New Year's resolution for 2026 was to 'wear more clothes'. She quipped: 'I was contemplating my new years resolution - wear more clothes in 2026. I thought I'll take my hat off to that. Here's to a fabulous new year …let's make a splash!'
Moving Forward from Past Heartbreak
The Barbados holiday follows a period of personal happiness for Cundy, who was seen looking smitten with a new love interest, American DJ Donald Friese, during an intimate date night in Los Angeles last November.
Lizzie was previously married to former English footballer Jason Cundy after meeting at a London nightclub. The couple wed in 1994 and welcomed two sons, Josh, now 29, and James, 25, before divorcing in 2012 following his affair with opera singer Hannah Pedley, who is now his wife.
Speaking candidly on Vanessa Feltz's Channel 5 show in May, Lizzie admitted the collapse of her marriage initially caused her immense pain. 'At the time it broke my heart,' she revealed. 'I think I had a breakdown, I didn't eat, I lost an incredible amount of weight.'
However, she emphasised her journey towards healing and forgiveness. She has since built a strong, amicable friendship with her ex-husband, stating: 'But life moves on and I say to everyone, make friends. There's no point being bitter and angry... And when I see him now, I don't think of that at all.'
