Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Timothée Chalamet subtly referenced in Kardashians episode
Kylie Jenner's boyfriend gets subtle Kardashians mention

In the latest episode of Hulu's reality series The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner managed to reference her relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet without ever uttering his name, thanks to some revealing comments from sister Khloé Kardashian.

The Freaky Friday revelation

The subtle nod occurred during a promotional segment where Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian were filming a Freakier Friday promo that involved magically swapping bodies. When asked during a confessional which sister she would choose to swap bodies with, Khloé didn't hesitate before selecting Kylie.

'I think I would Freaky Friday with Kylie,' the 41-year-old Khloud founder declared. 'And I would do that because, hello, it's Kylie Jenner. We have cool friends, we have fun animals, we live in a fairytale.'

The courtside clue

Khloé then dropped the biggest hint about Kylie's current relationship status by making a pointed comment about their social life. 'We're not dating basketball players,' Kardashian - who's previously dated two NBA players - scoffed. 'We're going to the games courtside, baby!'

The courtside reference appeared to directly point to 29-year-old Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, who's well-known for being a huge New York Knicks fan. This marks one of the few times Jenner's relationship with the actor has been acknowledged on the show, despite her never directly discussing it.

In fact, the last time Jenner was publicly photographed with Chalamet was on October 8 when they attended a New York Yankees versus Toronto Blue Jays game in the Bronx, sitting courtside together.

Relationship status and Thanksgiving plans

Despite recent speculation about their relationship status, it appears the couple might be going strong. According to People magazine, Chalamet was planning to fly to California to spend Thanksgiving with the Kylie Cosmetics founder at her $36.5 million Holmby Hills mansion.

This comes after an insider told the Daily Mail on November 10 that Chalamet and Jenner had 'broken up' but noted that 'this has happened before – but she talked him into getting back together. She is crazy about him so that could well happen again.'

When Vogue asked Chalamet directly about the Calabasas socialite in his November 6 cover story, he maintained his privacy, stating: 'I don't say that with any fear, I just don't have anything to say.'

The couple originally met as far back as 2019 at Nobu Malibu, though they didn't confirm their romance until 2023. Their mutual friend is designer Haider Ackermann.

Jenner shares two children - daughter Stormi Webster, 7, and son Aire Webster, 3 - with her former partner Travis Scott, the disgraced AstroWorld founder. Their on/off five-year relationship ended in 2022.

Meanwhile, Chalamet recently wrapped his role as Muad'dib Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuve's space opera three-quel Dune: Part Three, which isn't scheduled to hit US theaters until December 18, 2026.
