Kendra Wilkinson Calls Out Celebrities Over GLP-1 Drug Honesty

Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has criticised celebrities who are not being open about their use of GLP-1 weight loss drugs. The 40-year-old, who rose to fame on the reality show Girls Next Door, shared her own experience with the medication on Instagram, emphasising her commitment to transparency.

Wilkinson posted about starting her 'GLP-1 journey', noting that it was not solely about weight loss but also about improving her energy levels and overall wellbeing. She wrote: 'Starting my GLP-1 journey and being really intentional about how I do it for me, it wasn’t just about weight… it was about feeling better, having more energy, and actually trusting the process instead of rushing it.'

In a pointed remark, she added: 'Unlike most people I’m being honest.' This appears to be a dig at other celebrities who may have used the drugs without disclosing it. GLP-1 medications, originally developed for diabetes, have become popular for weight loss due to their appetite-suppressing effects.

Wilkinson, now a realtor, previously told Us Weekly about her struggles with fitness and ageing. 'There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress,' she said. She also addressed body image, stating: 'I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately.'

Despite the weight gain, Wilkinson insisted she is happier than ever. 'For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles,' she said. 'I am a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life.'
