However, positioned clearly on her bedside table was a framed photograph of her now ex-boyfriend, JJ Slater, aged 32. The couple's breakup was exclusively revealed by The Daily Mail this week, with Katie ending the romance after nearly two years together.
Insiders state the mother-of-five concluded she did not see a long-term future with the former Married At First Sight UK star, who is 14 years her junior. Cracks in their relationship had reportedly become 'too obvious to ignore' in recent months, despite Katie's previous public assurances they were going strong.
Relationship Breakdown and Moving On
A source close to the situation explained: 'Katie has had doubts for some time about whether JJ is husband material, but she hoped those concerns would fade. Instead, her fears only grew, and she's now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time.'
