William and Kate Share Family Photo for 15th Anniversary

The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked their 15th wedding anniversary by sharing a never-before-seen family photograph taken during their Easter break in Cornwall.

A Relaxed Family Portrait

The image, captured by photographer Matt Porteous, shows William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis lying together in the grass, barefoot and relaxed. The family of five is arranged shoulder to shoulder, with Louis resting his legs on Kate. All are dressed in shorts except Kate, who wears a casual outfit.

The couple's black cocker spaniel, Orla, appears next to William, along with a brown spaniel—a puppy from Orla's litter whose name has not yet been revealed. William was previously photographed with the puppies in a birthday post last year.

Celebrating 15 Years

The anniversary post on Kensington Palace's social media read: "Celebrating 15 years of marriage" accompanied by a red heart emoji. The couple wed in a fairytale ceremony at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, followed by a balcony kiss at Buckingham Palace.

Overcoming Challenges

The joyful snapshot comes after a difficult period for the Waleses, following Kate's cancer diagnosis in 2024. She announced last year that she was in remission, and the family made a fresh start by moving to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park in the autumn.

Family Milestones

William and Kate met at the University of St Andrews. They welcomed Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018. The couple's enduring bond and family life continue to capture public affection.
