Just one day after publicly announcing the end of their marriage, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker demonstrated a remarkable display of unity for their youngest daughter's sixth birthday.

The former couple, who were married for 11 years, put their personal differences aside to celebrate their daughter Blaze's Snow White-themed party at Ready, Set FUN! in Atlanta on Saturday.

A Difficult Announcement

The celebration came on the heels of a significant personal revelation. On Friday, the 49-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her 52-year-old estranged husband confirmed they were divorcing.

In a statement shared with People, Kandi explained her decision. 'After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I've made the decision to move forward with a divorce,' she said.

She emphasised her priorities during this challenging period, adding, 'This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.'

Celebrating Their 'Little Princess'

The focus shifted entirely to their daughter, Blaze, the following day. Kandi, a mother-of-three, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her 'little twin.'

'Happy birthday to my little twin @blazetucker!!!' she wrote alongside a series of photos. 'Time is flying by! I can't believe you're six years old already… so strong, smart, talented, creative, big personality, & a winner! My beautiful little princess! I love you so much.'

Todd mirrored this affectionate sentiment on his own social media, posting: 'Happy Birthday to my Baby Blaze! She my Beautiful little princess! She warms my heart every time I see her. @blazetucker where did the time go? 6 yrs old! Daddy loves you with all his heart!!!'

Looking to the Future

Beyond Blaze, the former couple also co-parent a nine-year-old son, Ace. Kandi is also mother to 23-year-old daughter Riley from a previous relationship.

In her divorce announcement, the singer-songwriter hinted at a new beginning, stating she is 'stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth.'

She expressed gratitude for the support they've received and requested 'privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.'

The split news arrived shortly after Kandi publicly thanked Todd during her acceptance speech for the Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos during BravoCon 2025, acknowledging his support through their shared public journey.

Kandi and Todd first met in 2011 while filming the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They became engaged in January 2013 and married in April of the following year. Throughout their marriage, they collaborated on several business ventures, including a soul food restaurant chain in Georgia and their own Bravo series.
