Jules Robinson Slams Critic Over Parenting Accusation in Fiery Response
Jules Robinson Fires Back at Parenting Critic in Scathing Reply

Jules Robinson has delivered a scathing response to a critic who accused her of not spending enough time with her two sons. The former Married At First Sight star, 44, shares children Ollie, five, and Carter, one, with husband Cameron Merchant, whom she met on the reality TV show.

Since leaving the Nine series, Robinson has built a successful career as a businesswoman and influencer. However, one follower recently took aim at her parenting in a mean-spirited direct message on Instagram.

On Thursday, Robinson shared a screenshot of the DM, which responded to a story she posted of herself heading out to a venue. The follower wrote: 'Do you ever do anything with your children?'

Robinson posted the message for all her followers to see, cropping out the critic's username and adding a rolling-eye emoji. She later shared a video of herself giving a judgmental look to the camera, explaining it was her response to those who criticise her life choices.

However, Robinson clarified the video was not a direct reply to the parenting critic. 'Also, my reel that I did yesterday, that wasn't actually in response to that message from that person,' she told followers on Friday. 'I'm not that sensitive, trust me. I've had a lot worse. It was just to reinforce my message of what I was saying. How, like, you can't win, so you've just got to make your own manual and do it your own way.'

Robinson is no stranger to online hate. She recently opened up about the bizarre wave of criticism she received for her Melbourne Cup dress last year. The Figur founder wore a pink and green striped frock by Pasduchas that ended up being a size 'too small' for her figure.

Critics left nasty comments about her body, with Robinson telling Daily Mail in December that naysayers acted like she was attending the Oscars. 'I didn't plan my outfit for six months. It got flown to Melbourne, I arrived in Melbourne and tried it on for the first time on the day,' she said. 'It's just a dress. It's just a day. I'm not murdering anyone, I'm not hurting anyone. Get over it. Yes, I was uncomfortable. It was too small and I just had to go, "You know what? F*** it. I'm going to dig deep, feel confident and have a good day." It wasn't right for me but it was just a dress, it was just a day. It's just the Melbourne Cup, it's not the bloody Oscars for God's sake.'

Robinson joked that the dress was 'the gift that keeps on giving', as Pasduchas sold out of all their pre-orders following the backlash.
