In a move that has sent fans into hysterics, comedian Joanne McNally has penned a gloriously chaotic 'letter' to her best friend and podcast co-host, Vogue Williams, who is currently braving the Australian jungle on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
A Tongue-in-Cheek Jungle Plea
The 42-year-old podcaster took to TikTok, filming herself in a luxury white dressing gown and eye patches while lounging in a huge double bed, to read aloud the spoof message. Addressing Vogue, 40, Joanne began with playful praise, stating, 'You're doing so well in the jungle, Vogue, everyone loves you.' She then added with her signature deadpan humour, 'It's glorious that everyone's gonna see how beautiful you are inside and out… but mostly out.'
The letter quickly descended into classic McNally mayhem as she revealed she had moved into Vogue's house in her absence. 'I'm writing to you from the comfort of your own bed. I've moved in Vogue, I'm not gonna lie,' she confessed. 'Is it a boundary crossed? Probably. But I like it here and I can smell you off the pillows.'
Parenting Pandemonium and Nanny Nightmares
Joanne, who became close with Vogue after living with her when she first moved to London, then detailed her 'help' with Vogue's children, despite being 'begged not to'. Her outrageous parenting decisions included buying Vogue's son, Theodore, 'a scrambler bike with no helmet and a vape' and giving her daughter, Gigi, 'a tiny glass of wine' in the evenings, remarking, 'She's a Chardonnay girl.'
The comedian also claimed to have fired the nanny over 'uncomfortable allegations', namely that the nanny refused to bathe Joanne while willingly bathing the children. 'Someone has to bathe me,' Joanne insisted.
She didn't spare Vogue's husband, Spencer Matthews, either. The former Made in Chelsea star is currently undertaking the immense challenge of running seven full iron triathlons across seven continents. Joanne joked, 'Spencer? Still running, going nowhere. Nineteen days straight now…running on all fours, sideways, like a crab.'
Genuine Support Amidst the Chaos
Despite the comedic havoc detailed in the letter, Joanne signed off with a heartfelt message of genuine support for her close friend. 'We love you, Vogue. Best of luck. We can't wait to have you home, but you're playing a blinder,' she concluded.
In the video's caption, she further teased, 'Vogue will be missing me desperately at this point, I can see it in her eyes. She's in pain and it's not just from gargling pig vaginas.' She ended with a call to action, urging the public: 'You can and should vote for Vogue.'
Spencer Matthews also shared his own gushing post about his wife, expressing how proud he was of her for crushing a brutal Total Wipeout-style Bushtucker Trial called the Wrecking Balls of Rage. He urged his followers to vote to save her, saying, 'That would mean the world to us. We miss her like hell.'
