Jennifer Lopez Chooses Vintage Over Luxury on Beverly Hills Shopping Trip

In a surprising departure from her typical retail habits, global superstar Jennifer Lopez bypassed the exclusive designer boutiques of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills this Thursday. Instead of visiting her usual favourites such as Dolce & Gabbana and Versace, the celebrated entertainer opted for a more affordable and nostalgic shopping experience at a vintage clothing establishment.

A Nostalgic Retail Destination

The iconic performer, renowned for her role in Kiss Of The Spider Woman, was photographed exploring What Goes Around Comes Around, a vintage store also situated within the prestigious 90210 zip code. Inside, the Hollywood legend carefully examined an array of vintage Chanel handbags in a soft cream hue, alongside the numerous vibrant dresses that adorned the shop's interior.

Daring Fashion Statement

Making a bold sartorial choice, the 56-year-old artist modelled a strikingly low-cut, long black dress while going bra-free. Upon exiting the premises, she layered a smartly tailored grey blazer over her ensemble. Completing her outfit, Lopez carried a petite Hermès Birkin bag and navigated the pavement in a pair of platform high-heeled boots.

Her signature dark locks appeared slightly lighter than usual, styled elegantly in a high ponytail. This casual yet chic outing comes as the Bronx-born star prepares for a busy year ahead, with two major film projects on the horizon.

Upcoming Projects and Personal Reflections

Lopez is set to star in the romantic comedy Office Romance alongside Brett Goldstein, famous for his role in Ted Lasso. Additionally, she has completed filming for the Netflix adaptation of the thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish, which concluded production in November 2025.

Recently, during her Up All Night residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Lopez shared poignant insights into her personal life and perspective on relationships. Performing her 1999 hit If You Had My Love, she reflected on how her interpretation of the song has evolved.

"When I first sang it, I was very young. I was a little baby in the woods and I sang it with a lot of hope," she explained in an Instagram post. "But I've also sang it over the years. I've sang it while I was sad and I've sang it when I was happy. But now, today, you know how I sing it? I sing it in power."

She elaborated on the qualities she now seeks in a partner, stating: "Because the truth is, if you wanted to have my love, you would have to earn it. You would have to treat me right. You would have to respect me. You'd have to accept me for all that I am. You'd have to love me if you wanted my love."

Navigating Love and Heartbreak

The On The Floor hitmaker, who has been married four times, acknowledged the complexities of romantic relationships. "Love is a complicated thing and I know that … you can't have love without heartbreak. You can't. That's what you sign up for," she remarked thoughtfully.

During her Vegas show, Lopez also humorously referenced her recent marriage to Ben Affleck. Noting that a decade had passed since her previous residency, she quipped: "I've only been married twice since then. That's not true! It was only once, felt like twice. I'm kidding." She followed this with a light-hearted gesture and the comment, "things happen", before kicking out her leg and adding, "and then get rid of them".

Lopez and Affleck initially ended their engagement in 2004 before rekindling their relationship in 2021. The couple married in July 2022, with Lopez filing for divorce two years later, citing April 2024 as their separation date. Looking forward, eight additional shows for her Up All Night Las Vegas residency are scheduled for March 2026.
