In a raw and moving moment on Saturday night's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Jack Osbourne was overcome with emotion while speaking about his late father, the iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne.
An Emotional Jungle Conversation
The 40-year-old reality star, who is currently competing on the ITV jungle reality show, opened up about his grief just months after his father passed away at the age of 76 following a series of health battles. During a heartfelt campfire chat with his fellow contestant, comedian Eddie Kadi, Jack reflected on his father's immense presence.
He described Ozzy as having a unique and powerful energy, stating, "Just his energy, he had this force, so hard to describe. He had this energy, it was like, he swallowed the galaxy and didn't know what to do with it." Jack went on to express what he misses most, adding, "He could say nothing and it's just this authentic energy with him. I miss it, and his humour, f**k he was funny, definitely miss his jokes."
A Vulnerable Moment of Grief
It was at this point that Jack, visibly upset, began to wipe tears from his eyes. He was comforted by the supportive presence of Eddie Kadi, highlighting the close bonds that form between contestants in the challenging jungle environment.
Later, speaking candidly to the camera in the Bush Telegraph, Jack addressed his vulnerability. "I'm feeling ok," he shared. "Eddie was asking some questions about my dad, I got a bit emotional. I feel like I can be vulnerable about this kind of stuff." This poignant moment offered viewers a genuine glimpse into the personal grief Jack is navigating while in the public eye.
