I'm A Celebrity Chaos: Alex Scott Faces Punishment for Salt Smuggling
I'm A Celebrity star breaks rules with smuggled salt

Tensions are set to escalate in the I'm A Celebrity camp after former football star Alex Scott was caught breaking one of the show's strictest rules during Sunday's episode.

Contraband Crisis in Camp

The sports pundit, 41, faces the wrath of producers after viewers witnessed her secretly using salt to season the camp's meal of crocodile feet, rice and vegetables. Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly immediately addressed the rule-breaking on air, promising that consequences would follow.

After fellow contestant Morgan Burtwistle, 24, earned 10 stars in the Bushtucker Trial, cooking duties fell to Alex and Jack Osbourne. While Jack focused on boiling the crocodile feet, Alex surprised viewers by producing sachets of salt as she prepared vegetables and rice.

"Jack you have fun with the crocodile toes and all of that section and just give me the mushrooms, potatoes and kale," Alex told her campmate. "I'll add some flavours in. I know people are going to be happy."

Viewers React to Rule-Breaking

The hosts were quick to spot the infringement, with Ant questioning: "Was that a bit of seasoning added?" Dec confirmed his suspicions, stating: "I think it was, I think it was contraband. What's going to happen? Watch this space."

Fans immediately took to social media platform X to express their shock and speculate about how Alex managed to sneak the seasoning past producers. Many viewers demanded punishment, with one writing: "How did she sneak in salt? Her punishment should be she has to do trial."

Another questioned the oversight: "How did she get salt or seasoning into the camp? And how do they not know it's not allowed?" while a third suggested ulterior motives: "Alex only wanted to do the cooking, so she could put some salt on it."

Martin Kemp's Wedding Night Revelation

Elsewhere in the episode, Martin Kemp, 64, shared intimate details about his long-standing marriage to wife Shirlie Holliman, 63. The Spandau Ballet star revealed how the couple's attempts to conceive finally succeeded on their wedding night in 1988.

Describing their low-key ceremony in St Lucia, Martin told campmates: "I got married in St Lucia on a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean with just three people." He jokingly added that the ceremony was so basic "if you looked into it more you'd find we're not married."

The actor shared that before their wedding, the couple had struggled to conceive due to Shirlie's endometriosis. "Then on the night we got married - kaboom!" he revealed, causing laughter among campmates as Lisa declared: "Meant to be!"

The couple have two children: Roman, 32, and Harley, 36. Viewers will have to wait until Monday's episode to discover what punishment awaits Alex for her seasoning scandal.
