I'm A Celebrity Stars Evacuated as Storm Threatens Jungle Camp
I'm A Celeb stars evacuated due to severe storm

Stars of the hit ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! were involved in a dramatic emergency evacuation on Monday afternoon, local time, as a severe storm threatened their jungle camp in New South Wales.

Urgent Relocation to Safety

The celebrity contestants, including rapper Aitch, comedian Ruby Wax, and reality TV star Jack Osbourne, were swiftly relocated from their main camp to the secure Bush Telegraph area. This urgent action was prompted by an official severe weather warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology for south-east Queensland and north-east New South Wales, the precise region where the popular programme is filmed.

The meteorological bureau warned of volatile conditions with the potential for "giant hail and destructive winds" sweeping across the region. A source from the production confirmed the swift implementation of their safety protocols, stating: "Our health and safety weather contingencies kicked in and we evacuated the celebrities immediately to the Bush Telegraph until the storm passed and it was safe to return to camp."

The 2025 Celebrity Line-Up

This year's series features a diverse cast of well-known faces. The campmates include Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty.

They are joined by comedian Eddie Kadi, sports broadcaster Alex Scott, and social media personality Morgan Burtwistle, who is widely known online as Angryginge. The line-up is completed by late arrivals Irish presenter Vogue Williams and Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson.

Emotional Moments and Upcoming Trials

The evacuation comes fresh from an emotionally charged episode broadcast on Sunday. Jack Osbourne was seen reflecting on the four-month anniversary of his father's passing. His father was the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne.

Osbourne shared a poignant moment with his campmates, saying: "Yesterday was a bit of a delicate day for me… I was doing OK, and then I realised it was the four months since my dad died. Had a good cry with Eddie (Kadi)… but ultimately I’m happy, I’m really happy I’m here."

The same episode concluded with hosts Ant and Dec announcing that rapper Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, would be facing the next Bushtucker Trial. The trial, titled "Night Night, Sleep Tight," will involve him lying on a bed filled with various critters.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues to air nightly at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
