Heidi Klum Goes Topless in St. Barths with Husband Tom Kaulitz
Heidi Klum's topless beach day with husband Tom Kaulitz

Supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, were spotted sharing a romantic and carefree beach day on the island of St. Barths last week. The 52-year-old television personality and model opted to go topless during the sunny stroll, showcasing her confidence and the couple's relaxed holiday mood.

A Romantic Getaway for the Age-Gap Couple

The Germany's Next Top Model judge wore only a pair of brown tie-string bikini bottoms as she walked hand-in-hand with Kaulitz along the sand. Her textured blonde hair flowed freely, and she accessorised with a pair of stylish sunglasses. The couple, who have a 16-year age difference, were visibly smitten, unable to keep their hands off each other throughout the outing.

Their affection culminated in a passionate kiss in the ocean, with Klum wrapping her arms, adorned with a red manicure, around her husband. For his part, the Tokio Hotel guitarist, 36, sported black and white bandana-print swim trunks, along with his signature gauges in his ears, a long gold chain, and matching bracelets.

Approaching a Marital Milestone

The loved-up pair, who began dating in 2018, got engaged after just one year together. They later exchanged vows in a private ceremony aboard a luxury yacht on February 22, 2019. In a few weeks, they will celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary.

Klum, a mother of four, frequently shares glimpses of her life with Kaulitz on social media. Just days before their tropical getaway, she posted scenes from a date night in New York City. The supermodel was previously married to British singer Seal from 2005 to 2014, with whom she shares three sons: Henry, 20, Johan, 19, and Lou, 16. Seal also adopted her daughter, Leni, now 21, when the girl was five years old.

Klum's European Perspective on Beach Nudity

In a 2024 interview, Klum addressed the frequent commentary on her choice to go topless on holiday. She explained that her comfort with nudity stems from her European upbringing. "I grew up with a lot of nudity on the beach," she stated. "So for me, this would be no big deal. Plus I was on a French island, and if you look around, most girls are topless, so it's just a very common thing."

The Project Runway alum added that she often chooses quieter beaches and encouraged others to try it, remarking, "[They] should try it sometime." She emphasised that her actions were not intended to be scandalous but were simply a natural part of her holiday routine in a location where it is widely accepted.
