In a preview clip from the Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson podcast shared with People magazine, Noth offered a frank assessment of the fallout. "We're not friends, I think that's pretty obvious," he stated bluntly. He went on to criticise the statement issued by Parker and her co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in December 2021, characterising it as "nothing more than brand management."
"It was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising," Noth elaborated. "Because you need to call me and hear my side of this. You've known me for many years, and we've worked together for many years."

The controversy stems from December 2021, when two women came forward with sexual assault allegations against Noth. The alleged incidents reportedly occurred in 2004 and 2015, emerging publicly shortly after the actor reprised his iconic role in the Sex and the City revival series, And Just Like That.... Noth has consistently denied all allegations.
Following his character's dramatic death in the first episode of the sequel, Parker, Nixon, and Davis released a joint statement on Instagram expressing support for the accusers.
