According to sources speaking to The Mirror, the If I Could Turn Back Time singer, who will turn 80 on 20th May, has set her heart on marrying Edwards to coincide with the celebration. The couple have been dating for three years.
A close friend of the star revealed the plans, stating: "She has set her heart on walking down the aisle with him around the time of her landmark birthday in May." The insider added, "She sees her upcoming celebration at turning 80 as the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal the deal."

The relationship between Cher, 79, and Edwards, 39, has drawn public attention due to their 40-year age difference. However, the source emphasised that Cher "doesn't give a hoot" about the gap and that both are ready to fully commit.
