Celebrity Traitors Fans Predict 'Big Dogs' for Season 2

Celebrity Traitors fans have already predicted the 'big dogs' as the season two line-up was finally announced, sparking excitement across social media. The BBC revealed a star-studded cast for the upcoming season, which is set to air on BBC One and iPlayer later this year.

Fans Hail 'Sweet Spot' Cast

Host Claudia Winkleman will return to the Scottish Highlands to oversee an exciting mix of celebrity personalities, including BAFTA and BRIT award winners, social media stars, and beloved actors, comedians, and presenters. The lineup includes singer James Blunt, comedian Joe Lycett, and Love Island presenter Maya Jama.

Reddit users were quick to comment, with many predicting that certain stars could be this year's 'big dogs'—a label previously given to Jonathan Ross and Sir Stephen Fry. One user suggested, "Richard E. Grant and Michael Sheen feel very Big Dog coded. I'm feeling Michael as the 'leader' of the Faithfuls and Richard as the 'leader' of the Traitors." Another agreed, saying, "Big Dogs meant that they were the most famous or had been around the longest. In this cast, I'd put the Big Dogs as Michael Sheen and Richard E. Grant."

Excitement Over Stacked Cast

Many fans expressed delight at the diverse lineup. One commented, "I think they've pretty much hit a sweet spot here. Really broad selection of famous names." Another added, "Cracking cast, honestly. A great mix," while a third said, "Really good names! I'm glad that A-Listers are wanting to do this." A social media fan noted, "This is a great cast and a real good mix of people. Perhaps not as A list as series 1 but still miles better than most celebrity shows we have nowadays."

Filming for series two is expected to take place at Ardross Castle soon, with celebrities arriving in Scotland today, though no exact filming dates have been announced. There is no confirmed start date yet, but the show is expected to follow the same format as last year, potentially airing towards the end of 2026. Series one of The Celebrity Traitors premiered on October 8, 2025, with the final on November 6.

Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, which produces the show, said, "The Traitors has become a genuine television phenomenon across the world, but especially in the UK, and we're thrilled to continue the journey with the BBC. It's hugely exciting that audiences will have many more years of strategy, suspense and shocking twists still to come."
