Iconic actress Brooke Shields and her daughter, Rowan Henchy, stepped out for a glamorous evening in New York City this week, showcasing their close bond and impeccable style.
A Star-Studded Night for Frankenstein
The mother-daughter duo attended a special event for "Frankenstein" on Wednesday evening, showing their support for actor Jacob Elordi, 28. The 60-year-old Mother of the Bride star looked effortlessly chic in a white shirt blouse paired with black balloon trousers, elevating her look with white pointed heels and a matching clutch.
Meanwhile, her 22-year-old daughter, an aspiring journalist, made a stylish statement in a sheer brown shirt and pinstriped trousers. Both appeared in high spirits, mingling with Elordi—who looked dapper in a navy suit and red tie—and other celebrity guests including Kyle MacLachlan, Melissa Elordi, Daniel Benedict, and Helena Christensen.
Rowan Henchy's Foray into Reality Television
The night out comes as reports confirm Rowan is branching into television herself. She is reportedly set to appear in Bravo's upcoming reality series, "Next Gen NYC." The show documents the lives of the children of famous personalities, with the first season featuring offspring from stars like Teresa Giudice and Kandi Burruss.
A source told Page Six that Rowan was recently filmed at a Holiday Nights party for Urban Outfitters with other cast members. The unscripted programme will follow its young cast as they navigate school, business, and relationships in New York, all while dealing with the dynamics of having well-known parents. Rowan graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina this year and has previously accompanied her mother to high-profile events like the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
A Bond Etched in Ink
The pair's close relationship is famously symbolised by matching tattoos. Last year, they revealed new matching ink on their left forearms reading 'and to the party,' done at New York's East Side Ink by artist Matt Gutierrez. This followed 2021's matching ladybug tattoos, celebrating Rowan's high school graduation and her nickname 'bug.'
Brooke Shields, who shares Rowan with her husband, film director Chris Henchy, continues to be a supportive presence as her daughter carves her own path in the public eye, from journalism to reality TV.
