Vodafone broadband is down for a significant number of users across the United Kingdom, as a major outage disrupts internet services. According to Downdetector, a website that tracks service interruptions, more than 1,300 individuals have reported problems within the last half-hour.
The vast majority of complaints—91 percent—relate to connectivity issues with broadband internet, while a smaller proportion of users are experiencing difficulties with their mobile phone services. Reports have been logged from various locations nationwide, including Somerset, Scarborough, London, and Liverpool.
This outage comes shortly after Vodafone launched a new social tariff broadband deal priced at £20 per month, aimed at helping more people access affordable internet during the summer months. The company has yet to release an official statement regarding the current disruption, but engineers are likely working to restore services as quickly as possible.
Affected users are advised to check the Vodafone service status page or contact customer support for updates. Many have taken to social media to express frustration, with some noting that both home broadband and mobile data are affected. The outage appears to be widespread, and no estimated time for resolution has been provided yet.
