This lavish annual getaway held deeper significance for the family, coming in the wake of a difficult period. Greg Shepherd tragically lost both his father and his step-father in the latter part of last year.
In September, Billie posted a moving tribute to her father-in-law, Dave, after he passed away aged 77. She expressed that the family was 'utterly heartbroken' and that 'life will never feel the same' following the sudden loss. She praised Dave as 'the best father in law, dad and granddad we could ever wish for'.
On Tuesday, Billie herself reflected on the tropical trip, sharing her own beach pictures in a powder blue co-ord set. She captioned the post: 'What a wonderful time we had. Grateful for the memories, we will cherish them forever.' The holiday appears to have been a cherished opportunity for the family to create happy memories together during a time of recovery.
