Amanda Holden's Leggy London Exit with Daughter Hollie Amid Snowfall
Amanda Holden's stylish London exit with daughter Hollie

Amanda Holden turned heads with a stylish and leg-baring ensemble as she departed the Heart FM studios in London this Tuesday, accompanied by her teenage daughter Hollie. The 54-year-old broadcaster embraced the wintry weather in a chic outfit, while her 14-year-old daughter showcased her own trendy winter look.

A Stylish Winter Departure

The Britain's Got Talent judge made a statement in a brown leather mini skirt that highlighted her toned legs. She layered for the cold snap, pairing the skirt with a sophisticated brown knit turtleneck jumper. Amanda added a cosy beige chunky cable-knit coat draped over her shoulders and finished the look with a pair of brown leather knee-high boots, which added extra inches to her frame.

As light snow began to fall, the television personality beamed for waiting photographers, even raising a hand in excited greeting. Meanwhile, her daughter Hollie, who bears a striking resemblance to her famous mother, kept warm in a practical yet fashionable black The North Face puffer coat. The teenager completed her outfit with blue denim jeans, brown UGG boots, and a blue-checked scarf, smiling as she exited the studio.

Keeping Fame in the Family Grounded

Amanda shares two daughters, Lexi, 19, and Hollie, 14, with her husband of 17 years, showbiz agent Chris Hughes, 51. Despite growing up with one of the most recognisable faces on British television, Holden revealed that her girls remain remarkably uninterested in her showbiz career. She has consciously encouraged them to stay grounded and develop resilience should they ever choose a life in the public eye.

"You do have to develop a thick skin, and they both know that mummy has one and that we take everything with a pinch of salt in our house," Amanda told The Sun. "So I hope they've learnt enough from me."

Daughters Forging Their Own Paths

While her eldest, Lexi, has embarked on a modelling career and is signed with the prestigious Storm agency, Amanda is quick to defend her against 'nepo baby' claims, noting she works two jobs alongside her university studies. Hollie, however, currently shows no interest in the limelight.

Amanda humorously recounted a recent incident where Hollie actively avoided being seen with her at the school gates. "I picked Hollie up from her new school the other day and she does not want any connection with me," Holden explained. "I got out of the car, she saw me and literally crossed the road." Her husband Chris reportedly shouted that their daughter should be proud, but Hollie was insistent, telling her mum, "Please get back in the car!"

Amanda admits that saying goodbye to Lexi when she left for university was emotional, and that life at home with her youngest is now proving tougher in different ways. She described her family life away from cameras as "normal and chaotic," expressing pride that her daughters have grown up with their feet firmly on the ground, largely indifferent to the fame that surrounds their mother.
