Alix Earle Secures Netflix Reality Series Spotlight
Content creator and Dancing with the Stars runner-up Alix Earle has confirmed she will headline a forthcoming unscripted series on Netflix, set to debut later this year. The 25-year-old social media personality announced the project on Wednesday, marking her official entry into reality television.
Family Dynamics Take Centre Stage
Earle will not be navigating the reality TV landscape alone. She is bringing her entire blended family along for the ride, describing them as delightfully chaotic. In a teaser for the series, Earle addressed her father directly, stating, "Dad. It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be fine. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Just trust me. It will be fun."
The announcement sparked immediate reaction online, with Earle's stepmother, Ashley Earle, humorously engaging in the comments. After a fan expressed hope that she wouldn't receive any PR training for the show, Ashley confirmed she was "untrained and ready." Ashley, 40, is known for her past involvement as 'Kristen' in the 2008 Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal, which led to the New York Governor's resignation.
Support from the Entertainment World
Earle received a flood of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities and former colleagues. Well-wishers included her Dancing with the Stars season 34 partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, along with Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Whitney Leavitt, Harry Jowsey, and Patti Stanger.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Earle posted, "I'm so excited I'm gonna puke," in a story that showed her surrounded by production cameras, adding "Oh hell."
Promising Authenticity and Depth
In an interview with Tudum, Earle elaborated on her motivations for the series. "I've shared my life for years through my own camera, but this felt like the next phase because it's a chance to go deeper," she explained. "Not just the highlights, but the real moments, too. The vulnerable ones, the hard ones, and the fun, chaotic ones in between. It's the same authenticity people know me for, but now with a different lens."
She expressed enthusiasm about showing fans a more complete picture. "I'm excited for fans to experience the full picture as it happens. The chaos, the emotional moments, the stressful parts and all the little things in between that you don't always see online." While admitting the adjustment to being filmed constantly was "a little scary," she emphasised the goal is to reveal more of her true self and family.
Personal Storylines on the Horizon
The series is expected to cover significant personal chapters in Earle's life. It will likely address her mother Alisa Maniaci's ongoing battle with breast cancer. The blonde matriarch, who divorced Earle's father in 2013, underwent an operation at a New Jersey hospital on January 11th.
The Netflix announcement arrived less than a day after Earle emotionally discussed her recent breakup from Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios, following a two-year long-distance relationship. In a tearful TikTok video, she confessed to struggling with being alone, stating, "This year I'm going to be dedicated to being okay with being alone. But I don't know why, I can't do it. This is like growth or something."
Earle's Rising Profile and Past Ventures
Earle, who stands at 5ft 6in, has a noted history with professional athletes, including a past fling with Texas Rangers player Tyler Wade and being photographed with retired NFL star Tom Brady. Her influence is substantial; reports suggest she commands around $450,000 per branded partnership post for companies like Poppi and Microsoft Copilot.
With 8.3 million TikTok followers, 5.4 million on Instagram, and a significant presence on other platforms, Earle first gained viral attention in 2022 for discussing her severe acne. She previously hosted the podcast Hot Mess with Alix Earle, which was dropped by The Unwell Network in 2025 after a two-year run amid rumours of a feud.
The untitled Netflix series promises an intimate, unfiltered look into the life of one of Generation Z's most prominent digital stars and her unconventional family unit.
