Alexia Nepola, 58, Says Mauricio Umansky Is 'Hot' But Not Her Type
Alexia Nepola on Mauricio Umansky: 'He's Not My Type'

Real Housewives of Miami personality Alexia Nepola has declared fellow reality star Mauricio Umansky "really hot and sexy" in his new modelling campaign, but firmly shut down any suggestion of a romantic connection between them.

Praise for a Bravo Friend's New Venture

The 58-year-old made her comments to Page Six in Miami Beach this week at the unveiling of Umansky's advertisement for ARI. Nepola, who has known the 55-year-old real estate broker for over a decade, said she was "very proud of" him for trying his hand as a male model. "I know people will be haters and they'll criticise," she stated, "but I'm rooting for him."

She emphasised her admiration was meant "in a respectful way," joking directly to Umansky's estranged wife, "Kyle, don't get mad at me!" The pair, who met at an NBCUniversal event, have consistently crossed paths at Bravo-related functions over the years.

Why Romance Is Off the Cards

When asked if the Selling Sunset star was her romantic type, Nepola was unequivocal. "No, but he's not my type — especially lately with, like, his behaviour," she said, alluding to Umansky's reported preference for dating younger women since his split from Kyle Richards in 2022.

Umansky himself addressed recent speculation about his relationship with 34-year-old reality star Celisa Franco, whom he was seen embracing last month, telling the outlet they are simply "good friends."

Nepola's Personal Life and Healing

The conversation took place as Alexia herself finalised her divorce from ex-husband Todd Nepola in March. Like Umansky, Todd is also in the real estate business. The pair had married in December 2021.

Reflecting on the swift divorce, Alexia admitted, "I think we got divorced really quick - probably too quick." She described her ex as "very impulsive and reactive," but confirmed they remain "in a good place." Regarding any chance of rekindling their romance, she explained, "I'm in a different chapter in my life right now, and I've done a lot of healing. Sometimes, distance is good."

Ultimately, while celebrating Umansky's professional move—"you're never too old to be the face of a brand"—Nepola made it clear that any attraction is purely platonic, firmly closing the door on dating rumours.
