Jim Williams explained that their son, whose real name was David Adam Williams, essentially died of a heart attack in his sleep from underlying health issues he likely never knew he had.
"The short answer is...natural causes," Jim wrote. "Our beloved son...your beloved friend...died, in essence, of a heart attack in his sleep from health issues he probably never knew he had." He added a message of gratitude that Williams passed away at home rather than abroad, and was discovered by friends rather than strangers.
