Abbey Clancy's Fifth Baby Pleas Met with Firm Rejection from Peter Crouch
Abbey Clancy's Baby Pleas Rejected by Peter Crouch

Model Abbey Clancy has made an emotional plea to her husband, former England footballer Peter Crouch, for a fifth child, only to be met with a firm and definitive rejection. The candid exchange unfolded during a special Mother's Day episode of their popular joint podcast, The Therapy Crouch, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into their nearly two-decade-long relationship.

A Mother's Day Request Denied

During the podcast recording, Abbey Clancy, aged 40, directly addressed her 44-year-old husband with a heartfelt request. "Pete, we should have another baby. It's Mother's Day, make me a mother again," she declared, hoping to expand their family beyond their four current children: Sophia, 14, Liberty Rose, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six.

Peter Crouch, however, responded with an immediate and unambiguous refusal, shaking his head in disapproval. When Abbey pressed him for an explanation, questioning "Why are you saying no? No dogs, no more cats," he stood his ground. "I don't want another baby babe," he stated firmly, highlighting their existing household chaos by noting, "You just bring dogs home. How many dogs have we got? In this house today, we've got four with Karen's [Abbey's mum] dog."

From Courtship to Podcast Stardom

The couple, who first met in 2006, embarked on a five-year courtship before tying the knot in a romantic ceremony at Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire in 2011. Their relationship has since blossomed into a family of six, with their podcast serving as a platform for open discussions about marriage, parenting, and personal life.

In the same episode, the conversation took a more provocative turn as Abbey Clancy asserted she is "no prude" when it comes to intimate matters. This led to a revealing discussion about adult toys and personal fantasies with sex educator Alix Fox.

Risqué Revelations and Fantasy Toys

Alix Fox presented various unconventional "fantasy" products, including one shaped like a tentacle, noting a significant cultural shift. "In the past you would only find something like that on niche fetish sites, you wouldn't expect to find that in Anne Summers for example," she explained.

She attributed a staggering 244 per cent increase in sales of such fantasy toys at retailer Lovehoney this year to the influence of popular culture, specifically series like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. "I think more people, because of certain TV shows and books and erotica, are into the idea of fantasy and monsters and minotaurs," Alix elaborated.

While Abbey described the adult toys as "a bit scary," Alix countered that for some, "the frightening aspect of the monster will be the thing that appeals to them because it's exciting to imagine that you're being ravished and taken over by something much bigger and stronger."

A Viking Fantasy and Marital Jealousy

This prompted Abbey to share her own risqué fantasy, revealing a preference for "the prince on the horse" but expressing a particular fascination with Vikings. "I'm not a prude, I'm open to all discussions," she stated, referencing the television show The Vikings. "They are all unreal. Vikings are a thing."

She voiced a desire for Peter to don a "sex Viking" costume to add excitement to their love life, admitting, "I would love you to get jealous." She praised the show's characters, saying, "When I watched that show. They're just cool. Even the girls are as hard as nails. But hot as anything."

Peter Crouch, however, responded with self-deprecating humour, joking that he would likely resemble Rodney Trotter from Only Fools and Horses more than a steamy, attractive Viking warrior, bringing a light-hearted end to the intimate and revealing podcast conversation.
