Parents Warned About Bouncy Castle Dangers After Accident

Parents are being urged to remain vigilant about the dangers of bouncy castles after a terrifying incident involving a four-year-old boy. Former TOWIE star Jess Wright appeared on This Morning to share her harrowing experience after her son Presley was rushed to hospital.

What Happened at the Birthday Party

Jess Wright revealed that her son Presley was at a children's party when he was suddenly thrown from a bouncy castle. Speaking to presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, she described how the boy landed three metres away on the floor. The impact was so severe that everyone in the hall gasped.

Presley, who has a pre-existing heart condition called bicuspid aortic valve, stopped breathing and began to turn blue. His mother screamed for him to breathe, and after what felt like an eternity, he slowly regained consciousness. He was taken to hospital by ambulance but has since recovered at home.

Jess Wright's Warning to Parents

Jess emphasised that the incident was unforeseeable and urged parents to stay close and vigilant when children use bouncy castles. She said: "Just be aware that it can get quite serious. Stand by more, even though we were, it's one of those things. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else, but it can happen."

Bouncy Castle Safety Tips

  • Always supervise children while they are on a bouncy castle.
  • Ensure the castle is properly anchored and secured.
  • Limit the number of children using it at one time.
  • Check for age and weight restrictions.
  • Avoid allowing children to somersault or roughhouse.
