Ghana's most renowned witch doctor, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, whose name translates to 'Devil of Wednesday,' has declared that he is placing a curse on England striker Harry Kane to hinder his performance in the upcoming World Cup clash between Ghana and England on Tuesday. Bonsam has a history of claiming supernatural interference in football, having previously asserted that he caused a knee injury to Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2014 World Cup.
Bonsam's Curse on Kane
In an exclusive interview, Bonsam stated: "I am working on Harry Kane. I have shown what I am capable of before so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am very famous for my predictions." He emphasized that he does not wish serious harm on Kane, but rather a mild affliction sufficient to neutralize his threat against Ghana. "I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana," Bonsam added.
Previous Claims of Supernatural Success
Bonsam's reputation stems from his claim that in 2014, he used spiritual powers to injure Ronaldo ahead of Portugal's match against Ghana. He explained that he created a special powder from his gods, mixed with leaves and concoctions, which he placed around an image of the former Manchester United star. At the time, he boasted: "I know what Cristiano Ronaldo's injury is about, I'm working on him. I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called Kahwiri Kapam." He further claimed that the injury was spiritual and incurable by medical means, saying, "This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day it is something else."
Source of Powers
Bonsam asserts that his powers originate from the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and bills himself as 'Africa's only Authentic Man.' He offers services including spiritual healing, protection, guidance, and rituals. His latest target, Harry Kane, is England's leading scorer and a key player in their World Cup campaign.
