Man Airlifted to Hospital After Kent Construction Site Injury

A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious multiple injuries after an incident at a construction site in Kent. Emergency services were called to the scene off Roman Way in Strood at around 4pm on Monday, June 15.

Emergency Response

Officers from Kent Police and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) responded to reports of a man requiring medical attention. Paramedics treated the man for injuries to his pelvis and femur.

An air ambulance was dispatched, and the man was airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London for further care. The air ambulance departed the scene shortly after 5pm.

Police Statement

Police confirmed that no criminal offences were identified. The cause of the injuries has not been disclosed.

Ambulance Service Details

A spokesperson for SECAmb said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 16:00 yesterday (15/06/26) to reports of a person in need of medical attention on Roman Way in Strood, Rochester. Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated the patient for injuries to their pelvis and femur before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. The patient was then airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.”
