A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by Dorset Police in connection with a serious road traffic incident involving an e-bike and a pregnant pedestrian in Poole. The collision occurred on Herbert Avenue near the junction with Manor Avenue at approximately 3.50pm on Monday 26 January 2026.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 30s who was pregnant at the time of the collision, was taken to hospital for urgent medical treatment. It was at the hospital that her baby was subsequently delivered.
