A woman has been remanded in custody following an alleged violent domestic incident in Perth's south-eastern suburbs, where she is accused of stabbing her partner multiple times during an argument about household responsibilities.

Laureen Gaye Sprenger, aged 47, appeared before Armadale Magistrates Court on Monday charged with unlawful wounding with circumstances of aggravation. The charges stem from an alleged attack that occurred at a residential property in Perth's south-east, where prosecutors claim the violence erupted over domestic chores.
Police Response and Injuries
Western Australia Police were called to a property on Carakine Grove in Thornlie at approximately 10pm on Sunday evening. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ms Sprenger's 47-year-old partner suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency services from St John WA attended the scene and provided medical assistance before transporting the man to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The alleged perpetrator was located at the scene and taken into police custody without incident, according to official statements from law enforcement authorities.

Prosecutors informed the court that Ms Sprenger allegedly stabbed her partner because she believed he was "being lazy and not helping with the home." In her post, she described Kirk as "an inspiration" and stated she had followed his content "long before he was recently murdered."
