A multi-millionaire banker with ties to royalty has been arrested in connection with the infamous 'Putney Pusher' incident. The suspect, a director at a private bank and a decorated former British Army officer, was taken into custody at his £1.4 million mansion, according to reports.
The Incident
The case dates back to 5 May 2017, when a 33-year-old woman was walking on Putney Bridge in south London. At around 7:40 am, a jogger wearing a t-shirt and shorts collided with her and pushed her into the path of an oncoming double-decker bus. The bus driver swerved at the last moment, narrowly avoiding a tragedy.
The jogger continued running and returned across the bridge about 15 minutes later. The victim tried to speak to him, but he ignored her, police said.
Investigation and Arrest
At the time, police described the suspect as a white man in his 30s with brown eyes and short brown hair. Despite investigating around 50 people, no arrests were made, and the case was closed in 2018 after all leads were exhausted.
However, new information emerged, leading to today's arrest. The suspect is a multi-millionaire banker with connections to the royal family, according to sources.
This is a breaking news story, and updates will follow as more details become available.
