The flight from Cardiff Airport to Fuerteventura takes less than four hours, meaning you can leave in the morning and be poolside by afternoon. Even in winter, average daily highs hover around 20°C. For those in South Wales, the route saves an extra hour of driving to Bristol or beyond. Cardiff Airport's manageable size means short walks from car parks and a stress-free departure lounge.
Departing on a Saturday during Easter break, we braced for queues due to the new EU entry/exit system, but we sailed through in minutes. The TUI app helps locate coach stops, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport.
