Streaming giant Netflix has dramatically expanded into the physical world with the launch of its first-ever immersive entertainment venue, offering visitors free admission to a world inspired by its most popular shows.
What to Expect at Netflix House
The inaugural Netflix House has opened its doors in the King of Prussia area, just outside Philadelphia. This vast, 100,000-square-foot attraction breaks from traditional theme park models by allowing guests to enter without paying a cover charge.
Once inside, fans can explore a variety of themed activities. Complimentary experiences are available alongside premium paid attractions. Visitors can test their skills on a mini-golf course, dive into virtual reality games, and enjoy meals at a restaurant whose menu is directly inspired by 20 different Netflix series and films.
Shows, Pricing and Future Locations
The venue brings beloved stories to life, with dedicated areas for global hits like Bridgerton, Squid Game, and Stranger Things. For those seeking deeper immersion, specific ticketed experiences are available.
While general entry is free, dedicated immersive adventures for shows such as ONE PIECE and Wednesday require a separate ticket, with prices starting from $39.
This is only the beginning for Netflix's physical entertainment ambitions. The company has confirmed that a second Netflix House will open in Dallas in December, followed by a third location in Las Vegas in 2027. For now, the company is focusing on its domestic market, with no current plans for international expansion.
A New Era for Streaming Entertainment
The launch of Netflix House marks a significant strategic shift for the streaming service, moving beyond screens into the lucrative realm of location-based entertainment. By offering free admission, Netflix aims to attract a broad audience, monetising through premium experiences and food and beverage sales.
This move positions Netflix to compete directly with established theme park operators, leveraging its powerful brand and extensive library of original content to create a new type of destination for fans and families.
