World of Frozen Sneak Peek: Disneyland Paris' 2026 Expansion Revealed
Inside Disneyland Paris' New World of Frozen for 2026

Disneyland Paris has offered an exclusive sneak peek of its most ambitious expansion to date, a multi-billion-euro transformation of the Walt Disney Studios Park set to relaunch as Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026. The marquee attraction within this vast new area is the highly anticipated World of Frozen, featuring a breathtaking, life-size recreation of the kingdom of Arendelle from the beloved animated film.

A First Glimpse of Arendelle

Stepping behind the construction hoardings reveals a kingdom that will feel instantly familiar to fans. The centrepiece is a meticulously crafted life-size Arendelle, complete with storybook-style buildings in soft pastel shades, a snowflake-shaped fountain, and a central town square crowned by a clock tower. Framing this picturesque scene is the North Mountain, standing at an impressive 118 feet (36m) and blanketed in remarkably realistic artificial snow, alongside Elsa’s iconic ice palace and the royal castle where the sisters grew up.

The attention to detail is so precise that it evokes the feeling of stepping directly into the movie. During the preview, characters Elsa and Anna made an appearance alongside a show-stopping animatronic Olaf. This incredibly lifelike, talking snowman is designed for interactive encounters and is poised to become a major highlight for visitors.

New Attractions and Must-Have Merchandise

The tour included a visit to the Fjord View Shop, a kiosk that will test the resolve of any parent’s wallet. It is stocked with exclusive Frozen merchandise, including clothing lines with movie motifs, princess dresses, and a unique interactive troll doll named Rúna. Priced at 70 euros (£61), Rúna is not available online or in other Disney parks and features special ‘trigger points’ around the land that prompt her to start conversations.

Guests can also explore the quick-service Nordic Crowns Tavern and the larger Regal View restaurant, which overlooks the immense new 7.5-acre Adventure Bay. Regal View’s elegant interior, adorned with murals of classic Disney characters and floral-patterned carpets, will also host character meet-and-greets.

Live Shows and Spectacular Entertainment

A key feature of the new land is Arendelle Bay, where authentic Viking-style boats will serve as show barges for a daily 'Celebration in Arendelle' sing-a-long performance. This show will feature a brand new song composed specifically for the land by the award-winning duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote the original film’s iconic 'Let It Go'. The composition, described as 'festive and lively', will be recorded at London’s famed Abbey Road Studios next year.

Meanwhile, the larger Adventure Bay will be the stage for nighttime drone light shows that Disney promises will be 'breathtaking'. The capability of these drones was demonstrated by spectacularly writing the opening date, 'March 29 2026', in the sky.

The entrance to the entire expansion is via Adventure Way, which is home to the enchanting Raiponce Tangled Spin ride. However, the view from this thoroughfare, which cleverly frames the mountains and rooftops of Arendelle, will likely draw the crowds straight towards the World of Frozen, a land that is set to be a monumental hit for Disneyland Paris.
