Haven is set to open four new Wetherspoons pubs across its holiday parks, including two near Manchester, as part of a £9 million investment. The pubs will be located at Cala Gran in Blackpool, Lakeland in Cumbria, Hopton in Norfolk, and Riviere Sands in Cornwall.
The first to open will be The Alfred Wainwright at Haven's Cumbrian site, named after the renowned British fell walker. The Springfield at Cala Gran takes its name from Springfield House, which stood at the park's entrance in the 1960s. At Riviere Sands, The Bluff retains its original name, referencing the steep bank offering coastal views. Hopton's pub, The White Clover, is named after the flower symbolising good luck.
This expansion brings the total number of Haven parks with an on-site Wetherspoons to nine, following an exclusive operating agreement signed in 2024. The first pub opened at Primrose Valley. Haven CEO Simon Palethorpe said the partnership continues to grow, with a record 4 million holidaymakers expected in 2026.
Prices at the new Cumbrian pub include a traditional breakfast for £7.09 and hot drinks from £1.85 with free refills. Main meals like fish and chips cost £14.59 with a soft drink or £16.39 with an alcoholic drink. Kids' meals start at £5.49.
Since 2021, Haven has invested £660 million in upgrading guest experiences. The company will also renovate the Show Bar at Marton Mere in Blackpool and build a new supermarket at Kent Coast.
