Three female employees at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, have filed police complaints after being inappropriately touched by guests while portraying characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck.
The incidents occurred over two days in early December. In the first, a woman in her 60s kissed Donald Duck with consent but then touched the employee's chest without permission, placing her hands inside the costume. The employee did not press charges, citing possible dementia.
On 4 December, the employee playing Mickey Mouse reported neck strain after a grandmother patted her on the head five times to demonstrate safety to her grandson. Police deemed it a civil matter. The same day, a 61-year-old man groped the Minnie Mouse performer three times during a photo session; she also declined to press charges.
Disney banned the man after a second inappropriate interaction with another cast member the following day. A Disney spokesperson stated, 'Everyone should feel safe at work, and we encourage cast members to come forward in any uncomfortable situation.'
