Love Island has a new look for 2026. Summer has just got even hotter - 12 new singletons have entered the Love Island villa, ready to crack on, mug each other off and shoot their shot in the name of finding The One (and winning a cash prize). And while the Islanders are busy pulling each other aside for chats, viewers’ eyes will be drawn less by their skimpy bikinis but by the true bombshell of the season: the villa itself, after its £1.2million glow-up.
This year, the Love Islanders will be romancing each other against a backdrop of a pale pink and turquoise colour scheme with Mediterranean blue accents, plush textures and ultra-trendy rattan in the new secluded Hideaway. But you don’t need an ITV production budget to live like a reality TV star - you can buy the complete Love Island look for less.
“The villa has swapped its old neon look for a high-end, luxury hotel aesthetic for season 13,” says Deirdre McGettrick, founder and CEO of furniture finder website uFurnish.com. “But anyone can bring those elements into their own home to create some Mallorcan magic in the UK, without breaking the bank.” Here she shows how you can recreate the Love Island look in your back garden for just £480.
1. The Mediterranean firepit
The circular villa firepit may keep the islanders warm at night, but it has an even more important function - providing the perfect setting for some red hot drama. It’s around the firepit, surrounded by a circular bench large enough for the cast to sit on and indulge in huge public arguments, that the most savage dumpings and dramatic recouplings go down. Deidre says, “This year, the seating zone has had a majestic makeover, going from a brown, natural wood and cream colour scheme to a Mediterranean combination of blue and crisp white.” While you may not have the space for a massive, curved concrete sofa, you can incorporate the fresh, clean look with a stand alone fire pit (Stretch fire pit, £80. Dunelm). Place your garden chairs in a circle around it, adding some vibrant sapphire blue outdoor cushions (blue cube design cushions, £14.99, Rackhams). TOTAL: £95
2. The candy-coloured seating zone
One of the most talked about additions to the 2026 villa is the new seating zone that manages to combine the feel of the British seaside with the chill-out area of an Ibiza nightclub. Colourful walls of pink and turquoise panels surround a private oasis, where a spacious gleaming white sofa sits on raspberry pink decking. “It will certainly bring a sense of whimsy to the Islanders’ romantic dates,” says Deirdre. You can easily recreate this high-end look with a splash of eye-catching paint (Telemagenta outdoor paint, £25.99, B&Q), adding white patio furniture (white garden seating, £99, B&Q) and stringing solar festoon lights (30 string lights, £7.49, Wilko). TOTAL: £132
3. The secret Hideaway suite
The Love Island Hideaway has been upgraded into a luxury hotel suite experience, complete with its own private plunge pool and romantic, secluded seating. When the Islanders want to escape the prying eyes of the rest of the villa, they can head for shaded seating on a double daybed scattered with teal, orange and cream cushions under a chic rattan canopy. “A double daybed could set you back thousands, but the idea is creating outdoor seating that is big enough for two, but cosy enough to feel intimate and sheltered,” says Deirdre. Try a roomy sun lounger with its own canopy (double hammock daybed, £82.99, Tesco) in your garden and pop your plants in some dramatic metallic plant pots (copper planter. £17.99, B&Q) for the full effect. TOTAL: £101
4. The glam breakfast bar
If anything captures the essence of Love Island it’s the acqua, white and pink breakfast bar with its neon sign, ‘Eat Sleep Crack On Repeat’. This outdoor kitchen is the hub of morning villa drama, where the Islanders try to woo each other with breakfast and gossip over iced coffee. “The 2026 layout features a sleek breakfast bar area framed by trendy, minimalist bar stools,” says Deirdre. But you don’t need a massive built-in marble counter to copy this set-up. You can easily replicate the look by adding a modern, weather resistant bar table and matching stools (bar table and stool set, £67.99, Aosom). Add a neon quote to your garden fence or shed (‘Let the fun begin’ sign, £33.99, Outdoor Living Company), then pop a couple of bright, neon colored reusable water bottles on top, and you’re ready to pull someone aside for a chat. TOTAL: £102
5. The dopamine decor
The villa’s 2026 makeover is a sign that wall-to-wall neutrals and tasteful beige are out and bright, kitsch colours and pastel shades are putting the sizzle into summer. In fact, the new design is a mastermind in “dopamine decor” - using bright, playful colours guaranteed to boost your mood. Deidre explains, “This year's signature palette relies heavily on contrasting pale baby pinks with vibrant turquoise, gold accents and bright Mediterranean white. You don't need to completely repaint your house or fence to get this look and just a few accessories will give your garden - and your mood - a boost.” Throw a teal outdoor rug (geometric rug, £25, B&Q) over your patio, add some bright pink outdoor beanbag floor cushions (garden pillow, £24.99, B&Q) to transform your garden from plain to paradise. TOTAL: £50
FINAL BILL: £480
