Unlike its iconic rubber clog design, which is the marmite of the shoe world, the Brooklyn sandals are timeless and understated whilst still feeling a little cool and edgy. Although usually priced at £54.99, the Brooklyn Low Wedge Clogs are currently on sale at Amazon ahead of Prime Day with 35% off. That brings the price down to just £35.74 and saves you almost £20.
The Brooklyn Low Wedge Clogs have elements of Crocs signature clog design, with their lightweight material and back heel strap. However that’s where the similarities end, with the sandals featuring two chunky straps over the toes and arches, an adjustable fastening on the heel strap and a comfortable platform wedge.
They’re made from lightweight rubber with a LiteRide foam technology inside, which means they aren’t heavy enough to cause aches and pains in your feet or legs from wearing them all day. The wedge is high enough to give you some height, and has a chunky enough platform under the toes to keep them comfortable enough to walk around.
You can shop the Brooklyn Low Wedge Clogs in sizes UK1 to UK10, and there are seven different colourways to choose from. Almost all of them are on sale at the moment, although the prices do vary depending on which colour you pick.
There’s a similar style at FitFlop, with the Max Buckle Leather/Cork Back-Strap Sandals which are now on sale down from £145 to £99. But whilst the Crocs version is made from lightweight rubber, the FitFlop sandals have a more classic style with leather straps and a cork heel.

However the Brooklyn Low Wedge Clogs from Crocs have been widely praised by Amazon shoppers. One wrote: “My sandals arrived this morning, and I haven’t taken them off all day. They are by far the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned. My feet feel like they are bouncing on clouds. So comfy. I love them.”

Some found it difficult to get the right fit of the Brooklyn Low Wedge Clogs, with one writing: “Lovely shoe but come up very small. The ankle strap wouldn’t do up and my ankles certainly aren’t that big. Wondering how much you need to size up to be able to do the straps up?”
Someone else agreed: “Look nice, but small fitting and narrow, almost like a child's fit. I ordered a size 4 and they were very small, compared to the similar one's by Skechers. I have returned them.”
