Bag Policy Blunder Almost Cost Me Entry to Anfield Concert
Bag Policy Blunder Almost Cost Me Entry to Anfield

A simple oversight nearly prevented me from entering Anfield Stadium for a concert. If you're planning to see Zach Bryan, Foo Fighters, or My Chemical Romance at the Liverpool venue this month, don't repeat my error.

Concert Season at Anfield

Thousands of fans will flock to Anfield Stadium in June 2026 as live music returns. American country star Zach Bryan kicks off the series on Friday, June 12. Next, Foo Fighters—led by ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl—will perform on Thursday, June 25 and Saturday, June 27. Finally, My Chemical Romance closes the run on Tuesday, June 30 with their Long Live The Black Parade tour.

Check the Rules Before You Go

Before heading to Liverpool FC's home, review their official guidelines on banned items, entry points, and travel. But most importantly, understand the bag policy—something I failed to do.

Having attended several events at Anfield, I thought I knew the drill. However, at Lana Del Rey's 2025 show, security stopped me because my bag was too large. With the concert starting within an hour, I faced a dilemma.

After a frantic call, my partner drove down to collect the bag and took it home. We made it inside just in time, but I felt foolish for such a basic mistake.
