Aldi offers $40 Thanksgiving dinner for 10 in US stores

Aldi has unveiled a Thanksgiving meal deal for $40, serving up to ten people, as US grocery prices continue to climb. The package includes 21 items, from a 14-pound turkey to pumpkin pie, costing just $4 per person – less than a pumpkin spice latte, the company noted.

The deal, available from 15 October to 24 December, requires no coupons or memberships. Customers can purchase in-store, online for curbside pickup, or via delivery partners including Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. Online prices may vary slightly from in-store ones, Aldi cautioned.

This year's meal is $7 cheaper than last year's, amid rising food costs across the US. Aldi claims a family of four could save up to $4,000 a year by shopping with the chain. Chief Commercial Officer Scott Patton said, 'Thanksgiving is the biggest food holiday of the year, and Aldi is proud to lead the industry once again on price.'

'Price leadership is part of our DNA, and the holidays are when our commitment to value really shines. We believe families shouldn’t have to make trade-offs to feed everyone, especially at Thanksgiving,' Patton added. Customers are advised to check local stores for product availability.
