Victoria Beckham Breaks Silence on Family Rift with Son Brooklyn

Victoria Beckham has spoken publicly for the first time about the reported family feud with her son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz. In a recent interview, the former Spice Girl addressed the rift, which began after Brooklyn issued a statement accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of 'constantly disrespecting' his wife.

When asked directly about the dispute, Victoria avoided mentioning Brooklyn by name but said: 'I think that we've always - we love our children so much. We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that's all I really want to say about it.'

Brooklyn's explosive statement earlier this year claimed that his parents had rejected attempts to meet privately, insisting on public appearances. He alleged that they travelled to London for David's 50th birthday but were turned away unless they attended the public party. David Beckham later addressed the situation indirectly at the World Economic Forum, stating that children make mistakes and that parents must sometimes let them learn.

Reports suggest that David and Victoria have not spoken to Brooklyn since May last year, following his and Nicola's absence from the birthday celebrations. The family rift has been the subject of widespread speculation, with no clear indication of reconciliation.
