Prolific author Anthony Horowitz has admitted to using ChatGPT 'all the time' in his writing process, despite feeling 'nervous' that it feels like 'cheating'. However, he emphasises the necessity of human discernment when employing artificial intelligence tools.
Horowitz attributes the enduring appeal of murder mysteries, a genre he frequently writes, to a fundamental human need for 'absolute truth' and justice in an era of misinformation. He is currently promoting 'A Deadly Episode,' the sixth book in his Hawthorne and Horowitz series, which features a meta-narrative about a murder on a film set.
The author has adopted new personal practices for well-being, including reading poetry daily and quitting social media, citing a significant improvement in his health. Horowitz expressed his view that casting a female James Bond would be a 'mistake,' while declining to name his preferred actor for the role.
