Sky has introduced a significant discount on its Sky Sports package to mark the return of the Premier League. The subscription, normally priced at £33 per month, is available for £20 when purchased with a Sky Glass smart TV, representing a 39% saving. This offer applies to both the Sky Glass Air and Sky Glass Gen 2 models, with device monthly costs starting at £6 and £14 respectively.
The discounted package provides access to nine Sky Sports channels, including Main Event, Premier League, Football, F1, Golf, and Tennis. Sky has also increased its Premier League coverage to a minimum of 215 matches this season, which it says is 80% of all televised games. The offer saves customers £336 over the 24-month contract term, though Sky has not announced an end date for the promotion.
Sky Glass is the brand's own 4K HDR Quantum Dot smart TV with built-in Sky and streaming apps, operating via WiFi to eliminate the need for a satellite dish or set-top box. Both models feature Dolby audio systems, voice control, and personalised recommendations. The Air model has two Dolby Audio speakers, while the Gen 2 includes seven Dolby Atmos speakers and a built-in soundbar. The monthly price for Sky Glass includes the device and requires a Sky TV and Netflix subscription, starting with the £15 Essential TV bundle.
Customers opting for the 43-inch Sky Glass Air with Essential TV and Sky Sports will pay a total of £41 per month, plus a one-off £20 fee. A discounted TNT Sports add-on is also available for £28 per month. After the initial 24 months, Sky Sports will revert to its standard price of £33 per month. Bills increase annually in line with inflation, but Sky allows customers to cancel following a price hike announcement.
