Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz Reveals Manchester United Dream Move Ambition
Palace's Munoz: Man Utd move would be 'dream come true'

Crystal Palace Star Reveals Premier League Dream

Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz has openly admitted that securing a transfer to Manchester United would represent a dream come true for the Colombian international. The 29-year-old wing-back, who has become instrumental for Oliver Glasner's side, made this revelation during an interview with Colombian outlet AS.

Impressive Form Attracts European Giants

Munoz enjoyed an outstanding previous campaign, contributing significantly to Palace's successes. He provided the crucial assist for the winning goal in the FA Cup victory over Manchester City in May, a landmark result for the club. Across all competitions, the defender registered an impressive six goals and eight assists, showcasing his attacking prowess from defence.

This exceptional form has not gone unnoticed, with Munoz confirming reported interest from European powerhouses Barcelona and Champions League winners PSG during the summer transfer window. The defender was also part of the Palace squad that claimed the Community Shield at the start of the current season.

Balancing Dreams with Current Commitments

When directly questioned about the speculation linking him with bigger clubs, Munoz responded candidly. 'First of all, I think there's a lot of talk about one club or another,' he stated. 'If you ask me, it would be a dream come true to play for one of these clubs, whether it's Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.'

Despite his ambitions, the player emphasised his current focus and professionalism. 'I think I'm working towards that; I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs,' Munoz explained. 'Right now I'm focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace.'

He clarified that while the links are flattering, no concrete offers have materialised. 'I don't have any concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace; we'll see when the winter transfer window gets closer,' he added.

Munoz, who recently featured in Palace's 0-0 draw against Brighton, is currently on international duty with Colombia. The defender signed a four-year contract when he joined the Eagles from Belgian side Genk in January 2024, bringing with him a reputation as a goal-scoring defender after netting 35 times for his previous clubs.
