Formal services have been added from March 1 to March 4 in Washington, D.C., and South Carolina, where Jackson was born and raised. The Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Jackson's organization, has not released further details about these events. Meanwhile, in Chicago, Jackson will lie in repose at the Rainbow PUSH headquarters, with a public celebration of life scheduled for March 6 at the House of Hope, a 10,000-seat church, followed by private homegoing services on March 7 at Rainbow PUSH, which will be livestreamed for public viewing.
