Kaleb Cooper has offered a reassuring update on Jeremy Clarkson's health, confirming the former Top Gear presenter is in 'good form' following his recent heart surgery. The young farmer appeared on ITV's This Morning to discuss the upcoming fifth series of Clarkson's Farm, which documents Clarkson's medical ordeal.
In the new series, Clarkson is rushed to hospital for cardiac surgery after experiencing chest tightness. He later reveals that one of his coronary arteries was completely blocked, another was severely narrowed, and a third had formed branches due to clogging, leaving him 'close' to a heart attack. The procedure took place in October 2024.
Speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, Cooper said: 'He seems really good, he's on really good form, I was with him this morning, we had a cup of coffee before coming to do this.' Cooper described the upcoming season as his favourite, citing the emotional journey and the busy farming year.
Cooper also shared a personal update, revealing he has welcomed his third child and jokingly said he plans to 'get castrated' to avoid more children. 'Life is busy... I'm going to stop at three and hopefully enjoy fatherhood,' he added.
Clarkson's Farm series five premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday, June 3. This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
