Holly Valance's Political Shift: Neighbours Star Grows Close to Tommy Robinson
Holly Valance grows close to far-right activist Tommy Robinson

Former Neighbours actress Holly Valance has sparked significant concern among her social circle after reportedly growing close to far-right activist Tommy Robinson. This development marks a stark shift in her associations following her high-profile split from billionaire Nick Candy earlier this year.

A New Political Circle Emerges

The 42-year-old Australian-born star was photographed last month on a luxury train journey alongside Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, and Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox and his wife. A picture posted online by Fox showed Valance cosied up on a sofa with his wife in one of the train's plush carriages, with a grinning Robinson sitting nearby.

The caption from the former actor read: "It's a bit early for that…" Further video from the trip showed Holly sipping tea as Robinson addressed the camera saying, "Good morning everybody. How are we?" Valance also took a selfie during the excursion, with her new companions posing in the background.

Friends Voice Serious Concerns

According to The Mail on Sunday, friends of the actress, famed for playing Flick Scully in the Australian soap, are deeply worried about the nature of her relationship with Robinson. A source told the publication, "Plenty of her friends are worried. The question is whether they [Ms Valance and Robinson] are romantically involved. Even if they are not having a romantic relationship, there is the fact that he has all of these convictions against him."

Robinson has a criminal record that includes convictions for assault, mortgage fraud, using a false passport and multiple counts of contempt of court. This association represents a dramatic change for Valance, who ended her 13-year marriage to Reform UK treasurer Nick Candy in June. The couple were previously regular fixtures at high-profile events, including Princess Eugenie's wedding.

A Vocal Political Transformation

Valance's alignment with Robinson's circle is not a recent one-off occurrence. She was first pictured with the activist in September during his 'Unite the Kingdom' rally, which was also attended by far-right political commentator Katie Hopkins. At the event, the mother-of-two was seen wearing a 'MEGA' (Make England Great Again) hat and heaped praise on Robinson.

She stated, "I'm very proud and pleased for Tommy – this is his redemption. Finally. How the man screaming from the rooftops about the rape of white British girls was framed as 'the bad guy' is going to be a case study. How weak and immoral we have become. Our silence is immoral. [At the march] the lions came out."

This represents a significant departure for Valance, who had kept her political persuasions quiet for years but has now become increasingly vocal. Her representatives have been contacted for comment on this story.
