Flight logs from the Jeffrey Epstein files have revealed the paedophile financier used his private jet, infamously dubbed the 'Lolita Express', for dozens of flights to the United Kingdom. New analysis of documents released by the US Department of Justice indicates Epstein made 90 journeys to and from British airports, with several of these trips aligning with known meetings involving Prince Andrew.
Epstein's Extensive Travel Patterns
The majority of Epstein's flights occurred across North America, where he trafficked young victims between his properties in New York, the US Virgin Islands, and Palm Beach, Florida. However, the newly uncovered data highlights a significant pattern of UK travel, shedding light on his connections within British elite circles. Prince Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to his association with Epstein.
Notable UK Journeys Detailed in Logs
Among the most infamous flights documented are several key visits that have sparked controversy and legal scrutiny over the years.
Sandringham Shooting Weekend in December 2000
In December 2000, Epstein's jet flew from JFK Airport in New York to Luton before receiving clearance to land at RAF Marham, located near the Sandringham estate. Photographs later emerged showing Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew dressed in tweeds on the grouse moors during this shooting weekend. Another image from released files depicts Andrew reclining across the laps of five individuals with redacted faces, his head positioned near a woman's lap as Maxwell smiles nearby.
When the group departed via Norwich Airport, the flight log recorded Epstein, Maxwell, a passenger listed as 'Kelly Spamm', US hotel tycoon Tom Pritzker, and an unnamed female.
Morocco to London Journey in March 2001
This trip began with Epstein, Maxwell, and 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre departing Palm Beach, Florida. After stops in Canada and Paris, they were joined by interior designer Alberto Pinto, his sister Linda, Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, and an unnamed woman. The group travelled to Granada in Spain and then to Tangier, Morocco, where the Pintos and the unnamed woman departed. Giuffre, Epstein, and Maxwell continued to London for a two-day stay.
Virginia Giuffre, who passed away last year, alleged she was taken to Maxwell's Knightsbridge mews house and the Mayfair nightclub Tramp during this visit. She claimed she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew, allegations he has always denied. The infamous photograph of Andrew with his arm around Giuffre, with Maxwell smiling in the background, was allegedly taken at the Knightsbridge flat during this trip. Flight logs from this leg also list passengers identified as 'Roger' and Emmy Taylor, Maxwell's British personal assistant.
Meeting with Tony Blair in May 2002
In May 2002, Epstein's Boeing 727-100 arrived at Luton Airport from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. The following day, Epstein had a private, 30-minute meeting with then-Prime Minister Tony Blair in London, arranged through intense lobbying by Peter Mandelson. Mandelson emailed Blair's chief of staff, Jonathan Powell, describing Epstein as "a friend" and an "advisor to the super-rich," and claimed former US President Bill Clinton wanted to introduce Epstein to Blair.
A memo detailing this controversial meeting was reportedly buried by government officials for over two decades before being released via a Freedom of Information request. In 2025, a spokesperson for Blair confirmed the meeting occurred, stating it "lasted less than 30 minutes" and was "long before his crimes were known of." Two days later, on May 16, the jet departed for Nice in the south of France.
Princess Beatrice's 18th Birthday in July 2006
Epstein's jet arrived at Luton Airport on July 14, 2006, ahead of a "masked ball" celebrating Princess Beatrice's 18th birthday. The party was held the next day at Royal Lodge, the former Duke of York's Windsor mansion. Photographs from the gardens show Epstein in fancy dress wearing a US military uniform, standing alongside Ghislaine Maxwell in a feathered boa mask and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein in a coat and tails.
Epstein attended this event despite an active arrest warrant having been issued against him in the US two months earlier for the sexual assault of a minor. The jet departed for Paris Charles de Gaulle on July 18, and Epstein was arrested in Florida just eight days after the birthday party.
The release of these flight logs provides a detailed timeline of Epstein's movements, underscoring the extent of his travels to the UK and his interactions with high-profile figures. This analysis adds to the ongoing scrutiny of his network and activities, particularly in relation to British institutions and individuals.
