Marvin Humes Shares Adorable Family Moment After Masked Singer Reveal

Marvin Humes has delighted fans by revealing the precious moment his young children discovered he was the celebrity behind the Can Of Worms costume on The Masked Singer. The JLS star, aged 40, posted a charming clip on Instagram showing his two youngest children, daughter Valentina, eight, and son Blake, four, reacting with pure joy as they watched the semi-final episode where his identity was finally unveiled last Saturday.

Heartwarming Family Video Goes Viral

In the touching video, Marvin and his wife Rochelle are seen sitting down with their children to view the latest episode. Initially, Valentina guessed that Can Of Worms might be Marvin's JLS bandmate JB Gill, but young Blake suddenly pointed directly at his father, who pretended to be shocked by the accusation. The family then enthusiastically joined in the show's signature 'Take It Off' chant, with Blake and Valentina leaping from the sofa in excitement upon realising their dad was the mysterious performer.

Marvin captioned the Instagram post: 'The can is open!!! Surprise!!! Finally the worm is out the can!!! What a show! Absolutely loved it! For the kids reaction alone!!' The clip quickly garnered attention from his famous friends, including host Joel Dommett, who commented: 'THIS IS THE BEST! You were so incredible.' Other celebrities like Sam Thompson and Rita Ora also praised the adorable family moment.

Secret Kept from Younger Children

Following his unmasking, Marvin disclosed that he had only confided in his eldest daughter Alaia, aged 12, about his participation in the popular ITV show. He explained that his song choices throughout the competition were deliberate nods to tunes he and his children enjoy together. 'That was the whole thing. When I talked about doing the show, I wanted to be completely across the board,' he said.

Marvin elaborated on his musical selections, which included 'Be Our Guest' from Beauty and The Beast, 'Ghostbusters', 'Temperature', and 'Pure Imagination' from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He noted that the latter is a favourite he often sings at home while watching the film with his kids. His final performance featured the party classic 'Cha Cha Slide', a track he described as universally loved.

Additional Reveals and Finale Anticipation

Elsewhere in the same semi-final episode, viewers also discovered the identity behind the Sloth character, revealed to be broadcaster and Animal Park presenter Ben Fogle, aged 52. Ben narrowly missed securing a place in the grand finale, which will air next Saturday evening. Host Joel Dommett announced the characters progressing to the final stage of the competition, building anticipation for the upcoming climax.

The Masked Singer finale is scheduled to broadcast on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX, promising more surprises and entertainment for audiences across the nation.
